Weekly Sketchbook- Figure Studies

I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t drawn much since the spring, once school let out. Instead, I spent that time focusing on starting up another bucket-list project of mine: writing a screenplay. Although I’m far from finished, I’m proud to say that I’ve already completed a (really) rough draft!

Since the fall semester is about to begin for my students, I thought I should polish up some of those old rusty drawing skills. Sometimes, taking a break from a discipline allows you to come back to it fresh and renewed. I’m pretty happy with this batch of figures.
