Weekly Sketchbook- Marigolds

Here are some marigolds studies from this past week’s sketchbook.

I’ve been teaching myself how to code for the iPhone since the beginning of the shelter-in-place orders began in Spring. In order to give my learning some direction, I’m casually building a gardening simulation app. My coding skills may never get up to the level I need to get the whole thing to work, but it’s been great exercise in learning to breaking down a bigger idea into smaller challenges,, and it’s been great fodder for practicing my visual development skills, too.

Along the way, I’m learning a little more about flowers, too!
